+ When and where is ONE Music Festival taking place?
Saturday November 16 starting from 2pm-9pm (approx). Kiama Pavilion and Showground
+ Who are the event organisers?
ONE Music Festival is organised by a committee of volunteers from the local churches in the Illawara-Shoalhaven area in partnership with Scripture Union NSW.
+ What should I expect on the day?
- There will be live music on two stages
- A creatives space
- Lawn games for you to enjoy with your family and/or mates.
- A kid-free time when parents can check-in their 5-11 year olds for some craft and fun.
- A number of food vendors
- A Bible Talk session by our guest speaker
- “Soul Food” conversation bites for you to chat over with your family and/or friends (new/old) + More!
+ How can I purchase tickets for ONE Music Festival?
All official ONE Music Festival tickets can be purchased online through the ONE Music Festival website https://www.onemusicfestival.com/tickets-3/ or at the gate. Final tier prices will apply at the gate.
We wont take responsibility for any tickets bought off facebook or any other unofficial channels.
+ How can I sign up as a Volunteer at ONE Music Festival?
Our online volunteer registration is now open through the ONE Music Festival website https://www.onemusicfestival.com/volunteer/.
Please note all volunteers must have a valid WWCC.
+ Is this an all age event?
YES! We are an intergenerational community driven music festival bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ.
+ Can I bring my own food and drinks to the festival?
Unfortunately no! We have a great lineup of local vendors from the Illawara on-site that you will be able to support by buying food from them. Please chat to us if you have any concerns regarding this expectation!
+ What is the festival's policy on prohibited items?
The following items are prohibited at the ONE Music Festival event;
• Food (unless approved for medical purposes) and drinks.
• Weapons/dangerous items
• Alcohol or illicit substances.
• Glass (not including perfume, medicine or vitamin bottles).
• Flares, fireworks, laser pointers, knives, scissors, and glowsticks.
• Aerosol sprays and aerosol sunscreen.
• Eskies, BBQs
• Professional cameras, audio recording devices (not including mobile phones).
• Sporting equipment.
• Third party promotional material (stickers/ flyers)
• Animals (excluding authorized guide/ companion dogs).
Any Patron found in possession of the following Prohibited Item will be refused entry and removed from the Event Site without refund;
• Alcohol
• Flares, Fireworks,
• Laser Pointers,
• Weapons/Dangerous Items,
• Illicit Drugs,
• Nitrous oxide (nangs), Butane or any other enhancing gas
• Any other prohibited item that is intentionally concealed
Security will not take possession of any prohibited items and will remove them from the patron and dispose accordingly.
+ What can I bring for my children?
You can bring the following:
Sunscreen
Hats
Water bottles (must be empty, we have water stations on site)
Small snacks and fruit
Any feeding requirements
+ Can I bring picnic rugs, chairs and umbrellas to the event?
Yes! These can ONLY be used around the outdoor stage.
ONE Music Festival takes no responsibility for the damage or loss of your property.
+ Can I park at the pavilion/Showgrounds?
There are limited car park spaces available at the pavilion. Priority will be given to those with a valid mobility parking permit. If you hold a valid mobility parking permit, you should email us at onemusicfestival.sc@gmail.com to book parking (first come-first served basis).
There is also limited parking at Kiama Anglican Church on Terralong street and nearby parking in neighbouring streets. Otherwise we recommend catching public transport to and from the event.
+ Are there any shuttle services or public transportation options to get to the festival?
As the event is approx 500m from the Kiama train station, there will not be a shuttle service for the event. We recomend you frequently check the NSW transport southcoast line webpage closer to the day for up to date transport timetable information.
+ Are there ATMs available at the festival?
Unfortunately not this year! Our gate ticket sales and other vendors will accept eftpos and cash! Please bring with you your prefered mode of purchase. Otherise there are plenty of ATM’s along the mainstreet of Kiama (Terralong street).
+ Is smoking Permitted at the event?
There are no designated smoking areas onsite and Smoking is STRICTLY NOT PERRMITTED within the premises!
+ What happens if it rains?
Our dedicated team will be monitoring weather closely throughout the lead up to event day and on event day. The event will go ahead rain or shine with some adjustments, and we will communicate any changes via emails to ticket holders, our social media platforms and the stage PA on the day should we incur inclement weather.
+ What is the festival’s policy regarding refunds?
There are no refunds, credits or exchanges on any ticket except as required by the Live Performance Australia Consumer Code of Practice (for example if an event is postponed or cancelled etc). Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the event organiser.
